Best Place to Buy Wheel to Wheel Nerfs?

Everyone with an opinion on the subject please speak up. I think the Wilmore Industries Wheel to Wheel bars are the best value... Anyone like any others better? Where'd you get the best price?

I found a style I like from a company called N-Fab out of Houston, TX. Don't know much about them yet. I like the style. They stay tucked up close to the body with steps that drop down off of them. Standard color is black, but they will color match if you want. Check them out at www.n-fab.com

Never seen the n-fab's, but those are really sweeet! sent them an e-mail for a price. I like the putco boss bars too, but good lawd them's spensive!!

Check out the pics on my readers rigs. There is also a link there for the Putco Boss Bars. This was the best price I could find back in July when I got them. I've been very pleased with them, and they look great on the truck. Not cheap though! Whether or not it's worth it I would base it on how long you intend to keep the truck. I'm keeping mine a long time, and don't want to hang anything on it I'll regret.

I like the new style they for the quad cabs that have individual steps for each door. I'll be putting a set on my truck when it arrives.

those of you interested int the n-fab products,,, call up 4wheel part wholesalers because they are the distributers for them. I looked into some of their products and emailed them for prices and did not get very far with that a couple of months ago. And then just last week I was in the 4 wheel parts store here in Plano Texas and they had N-fab products on the showroom floor. I asked a salesman about it and he said that it is a new product line for them. He was able to give me straight up answers about prices. What I was looking at was pricey though so I am still thinking about it.

Call my friend Marty Garza at Truck Toyz. 956-664-2621 for the n-fab bars. I have them, I love them but they take a while to get. The wait was worth it IMO.

I am shopping for a set for my 2nd gen right now. Most of the companies I have come across have already been mentioned with the exception of Westin and Go Rhino. I don't know if either offer 3rd gen products, but it is worth checking them out.



The Tough Country bars are big $$$. I agree the Willmore seem to be a great value. Does anybody around here have a set have a set.



How do the N-Fab bars mount? Last I called and spoke with them they has a pretty cheesy mouting setup IMHO.

How hard is it to mount n-fab bars on 03 ram? Is there any drilling in the frame? I like the look of the bars. Rhino 50

N-Fab says no drilling or welding required. Bolts up to existing holes. I'm going to look into them some more. I really like the style and I think they would look good painted to match.

I called NFAB today. The bars mount to the pinch rail at the bottom of the body panels. There is no mount that goes to the body or the frame. For a reg cab the price of the bars was $349 + Shipping.

Mounting them was a MoFo. I had to drill 12 holes, 6 each side. It is incredibly strong, but the eylets for the bolts are crooked and therefore need individual attention and some dremel work on the pinch seem to get a good fit. I can say that it'll hold 450lbs easy.

Eric, did you drill in the frame or the mounting brackets? I don't want that much hassle. For the price they ought to install themselves.

After doing some research and looking at pictures of CKruse's truck I ordered up a set of Putco Boss Bars. They are big $$$$ but my truck is big $$$$ so why skimp now. I don't have the truck or the bars since both are in transit from their respected factorys but by next week I should have both and if anyone wants any opinions I will be glad to share.

Rosco, I am interested in the Putco bars so would like to know what you think of them and how easily they install. Do you have the long bed with wheel to wheel bars? I have heard that the step pad in not formed into the bar is that right, just attached on top of the bar? Txn, Keith
