OK guys, I plan on ordering an 06 Ram real soon, my question is, where is the best place to order an 06 in or around Colorado?

I went to my local Dodge fleet and without even mentioning cost the fleet Manager said he could order at invoice without any extra charges such as delivery and destination etc. plus I could keep any incentives if there are any up to time of delivery which I dought there would be for an 06.

I know Tommygun can order at 3% under invoice which works out to 1,200. less than invoice on a 40,000. truck, but he is 850 miles away, by the time I buy a plane ticket, hotel, food and gas I would only be saving around 600. 00 which isn't enough to warrent spending an entire weekend away from home, let alone if something went wrong, like the truck came in with a problem etc. .

So with that being said is there a better deal on ordering an 06 than invoice close to the Denver area?

Try Rusty at Johnson, he was making me a real good deal on an 05' till the sales manager(Johnsons kid) p**** me off. I wound up getting a pretty good deal at Valley in Boulder.

I'm very pleased with Johnson Auto Plaza in Brighton. Talk to Linda or Kathy in the fleet dept. Got my current rig from them last year.

Like Elway Dodge on Arapahoe Rd. Their service is second to none. Talk to Rodney the service manager before you buy and tell hi Tommie sent you. That way if you ever need service you know how you will be treated.

I bought 3 trucks from Broadway Dodge. Got my 04. 5 at invoice + nothing and kept all rebates. They've been good to me.

Have to second or third the purchase from Johnson up in Brighton. I bought a 96 from Linda and my 01 from Kathy in the fleet dept. They were a real pleasure to work with at the time. No muss no fuss at all. When I was looking I stopped in at John Elway just to get an idea of what they were going for and to get an idea on my trade. John Elway offfered my 8k for my 96 (gasser) I told them I dont think so and then went up to Johnson a few weeks later. They offered me 12k for the 96 and the price of the new one was about 4k less than what Elway wanted for the same vehicle. Saved 8k and there was no suprises.

I have had good luck with Dan out in Limon. Dan is the fleet salesman,1-888-742-5726. Limon is a small dealer with really good service and prices. I would check around for prices and give Limon a try. I bought my first CTD there. I have also had good luck with Broadway Dodge.

Call Dave Smith in Kellogg, Idaho. Southwest airfare to Spokane is cheap. They will go for you in Spokane. You wouldn't get a better deal than Dave Smith. Grizzly

Thanks guys, like I pointed out in my first post, not sure it would be worth it to buy out of state unless it was well below invoice, at 3% below I would only save 600. 00 after I deduct the travel expense.

Buy from the guy that is closest to you. Right now everyone is priced exactly the same, so what's the difference?

Heck i'll fax you a price quote, and then if your local dealer will not match it, You can fly here and drive home!

Is 12hrs and 21 minutes worth about $1200 :)

At one time, Dave Smith was reimbursing for the airfare to Spokane. Don't know if they are still doing this, but it is well worth your toll free call to ask them what they can do. Besides... The drive back to Colorado should give you a good start on the break-in. When I bought mine, in March, no one in the NW could beat their deal... :)

Brent at Christopher Dodge 800-426-6032 Golden, CO

Largest Dodge Dealer in US. Huge truck inventory. Brent can order for you as soon as DC starts accepting orders.

Check out there inventory and then compare to Elway, Northglenn, Lithia, Broasdway and other dealers. No comparison. They have the most and will be able to get what you want.
