Just got my new Isspro EVM gauges in (Tach, boost, pyro, oil pressure, water temp) and am looking for the best place to stick the oil pressure and water temp sensors. Looks like right under the thermostat housing in the block there is a 1/2" plug where the water temp would get a good reading. Thinking about tying the oil pressure sender into the turbo supply line. What do you guys think? Is there better places for these? TIA

I used the little plug on top of the oil filter mounting bracket to put a temp probe. Easy enough to get to if it gives a good reading.

For water temp??????

QrtrHrs, are you talking about the 1/8" pipe plug on top of the filter housing, or is there another one I am missing. Looks like that would be oil pressure, but I haven't tried to figure out if it is pre or post filter. I am thinking post-filter would be better, since it would show you if your filter was getting plugged up. Right? wrong? Thanks for the input.

Yes the 1/8" plug is what I used. I dunno either if it's pre or post. Think about it though, pre filter you might see a pressure build up as opposed to a post filter drop. My work involves a lot of vacuum pumps running Luberfiners outboard for filtration. We have all those set up pre filter. Some of our vacuum mechanics are pretty savvy. I can run this by them.

?????????????

Did you install a temp probe or a pressure sender? If pressure, what psi's did you see? I am ranging from @10 to 80+ (80 pound gauge). Guess I shoulda got the 100 lb one instead, but that psi seems excessive... ... ... ...
