I'm needing to get a pyro and trying to figure out who has the best price.

Also curious about the brand. I like the look of the autometer's, but they seem to be a bit more pricey.

Also looking for an affordable steering column mount.

Thanks

I use the autometer competition series probe w/ultra lite guage. Yes, it is pricey, but it reacts fast. It reacts faster than the "street" series probe. Olee Poole mentioned this when he drove my truck after the clutch install.

I would reconmend Autometer, made in the US, good product, good support. I would not worry about saving $10, and buying a cheaper brand, with the amount of work it takes to install it and run all the wires the last thing you want to do it have to take a cheap one out and replace it because it failed. I got mine from Jegs.

Ordered an Autometer Lunar pyro. Now I need to figure out where I want to mount it. Can you still get the gauge cup's? I may do my own and mount it on the column...

FWIW I use Di Pricol gauges. I prefer how they look and don't like having to run a power wire to my pyro.

I use ISSPRO gauges, very good top of the line gauges.

DiPricol are also top of the line and I have their fuel pressure gauge on order.

Here is what I have:

1. ISSPRO Pyro gauge

2. ISSPRO Boost gauge

3. ISSPRO Trans temp gauge

4. Dipricol Fuel pressure gauge.

All of them are very good gauges and you can buy them at many retailers including sponsors of this board.

Does it make sense to get a pyro/gauge setup that has the ability to preset a temperature for an alarm/buzzer to go off to give you an audible warning in case you are not looking at the gauge?

Does anyone have any info on the Dipricol gauges? All I can find is company in India named pricol, I think this is who makes them. Anyone have any other info other than places that sell them?

Keep in mind if you are future bombing, Most of the HP companies come with an EGT guage built in

Like the TST or Juice, or outlook... etc

Tomey,

I'm buying it now because my turbo/ats manifold will be here next week. I want to monitor everything until I see the quadzilla box monitor, when it comes out, I'll pick one up and either use the gauge in my 05, or use it behind the turbo for cool down.

I love gauges:D

if you love gauges, you should see John Isaac's truck "Floor-it Diesel"

If I'm lying, i'm dying... That truck has like 10 gauges all in front of the driver!!

SPA if you have the dough, Westach is a good second choice, Dipricol had a slower response time, maybe their better now.
