got a friend with a 02 Cummins that he uses often for towing purposes. he currently has gauges, k & n air filter, muffler delete and superchips programmer. he wants more power without EGT issues. what are some good combos. i suggested a 4" turbo back exhaust, rv275's and an ez. any thoughts...

TIA

Is it a 6 speed? Clutch upgrade first! Is it an auto? transmission upgrade first! I just did auto transmission by DTT, DD1 Jammers, and Comp in EZ mode. Tows the 11K 5er really well now. I have 4" SS Magnaflow, and NAPA 6637 BHAF. Can the K&N and get a BHAF. I set boost to 28 lbs. EGT are in control at this point, will know more when I get the 5er in the mountains in the spring. A must for towing. Get an exhaust brake.

Also, keep on hand plenty of straps, chains, and binders. I know that this will not increase HP, but it will prove useful.

Chris, Jeff knows he's risking that stock transmission if he wants more power. Hey, you didn't come by Saturday for the rallye ride with the KORE system. You gotta ride in it, it's a trip.
