Hey, I am going to be racing at truck fest in Denver and I need some advice.

As you can see in my sig. my list of boxes and programmer. I am looking to find out the best settings fore the quarter mile.

I have tried tried programmer on Extreme, EZ on 3, and TST on 3/3 and felt somewhat good but boost levels are only 35 and feels a bit over fueled.

I have tried NO EZ, TST on 7/7 and programmer on exterme and that felt good, but exhaust temps went through the roof in a hurry. boost levels at 41 psi.

One things for sure with the programmer on Extreme I am getting lightning fast spooling on the bottom end. So I am not sure if changing the programmer needs changin. .

Josh,

I think you're on the right track. Try the DL on Extreme, the TST on say 5/1 and the EZ on 3. If you get popping or injector rattle then back the TST back to 4/1 and then 3/1 if necessary. I'd say you are gonna get your best run in their somewhere. Also if you don't get any adverse reaction at 5/1 on the TST then you could edge that up to 6/1 and continue going up until you have a problem. Just keep the te setting on the TST down. The truck will run better. :D

I got my best runs today at the track with the programmer on extreme, ez on 3, and the TST on 7/3. I never tried my tq any lower though on the TST. I still don't think that I ran very well though . 14. 75 was my best today in the mile high city.

I think my 35" toyo mt's might have been a partial problem though.

I would think your truck should be in the mid to high 12's? the 35's arent killing you as much as you think, (some people have reported running quicker with bigger tires) were you launching on boost? If so how much?

Also your WOT boost #'s seem low, especially since your O-Ringed, crank up the boost to about 50-60 PSI and see what happens.

That was launching at 22-25 psi with my BD RAD tq mgnt delete on. With it off it would only launch at 17psi. My max boost my truck would make was 40 on diesel only and 42 w/ water meth. I was told that because my wastegate hose is running to my A2000 and not my larger turbo I am not getting maximum boost. Someone else said my wastegate isn't adjusted correctly. I'm not sure what's up. There was a guy there with an stock 06 w/ crazy lary and 32" tires that ran a 14. 5 and my best was 14. 75. Something is not right. Truck launches well though.

My best results of the day.

Reaction time = . 144

60' = 2. 076

330 = 6. 049

1/8 = 9. 404 @ 73. 32 mph

1000 = 12. 29

1/4 mi. = 14. 754 @ 91. 91

Not very good!

your twins need tuning bad! you can install a drive pressure gauge then put a small hose clamp on your wastegate line and start clamping down on it til desired boost is reached but you need to watch your drive pressures and you can tell when you start running your turbos out of there efficiency range.

On my setup I run 70+psi and I CANNOT get my egt's over 1375
