Best step bars? Opinions

Anyone have an opinion on which product and where to source them. What I had in mind is an easy install, stainless (full thickness), step that goes to the doors and then covers the front of the bed to stand on. Any thoughts

I bought XL Wheel to Wheel nerf bars for my truck. They have kick outs at the back for my dually. They also have step pads for both doors and at the rear for reaching into the bed.



Stainless steel - they were about $400 locally (installed). They support my weight 220 #'s and have had a 250# guy climb in the bed with no problem.

I have the Putco wheel to wheel "Boss Bars" on my truck. There polished 4'' Stainless steel.

Don't have them yet, but Putco is my choice. Just have to steal my kids lunch money for a couple more months to afford them. :-laf

I like my Willmore w-w nerf bars. Price was good and delivered to my door. Pretty easy install. They mount in the taped oval holes in the body rocker panels.

I have J&J polished stainless Millenium running boards. For SWB they are one piece wheel-to-wheel. For LWB, they are two-piece W-T-W. They are fat nerfs that have a running board top. They look awesome, but are very expensive (around $1200 MSRP for LWB plus install) and are a PITA to install (instructions are lousy, included brackets need to be modified or fabbed from scratch). I highly recommend a pro install if you get 'em. They look awesome and you don't see many running around. Nerfs are OK, but these are nicer IMHO.
