My son's got a '90 R/C with VE/Cummins NV4500, NP205 and matched pair of D-60 axles. And a full RhinoCoat inside and out. Loves it, as does every friend that's ever ridden with him.

Gets a LOT of miles per tankful, and it's dressed out for the Zombie Apocalypse. Only objection to that combination is that the big, chunky transmission and big chunky T-case between the narrow-width framerails don't leave much room for big-diameter exhaust. So, he's got a 3-inch system. With such a light loading, however, it breathes just fine.
