Where to buy a VP44?

Heads up on Edge rebate

I Have A 1991 W250 Diesel, auto. Bought New, Been A Great Truck, No Problems. And She Has Been Worked Hard On The Farm Mostly Pulling Cattle And Flatbed Trailers. i Am Looking To Move Up A Few Years. Someone Said An 2003 Ho With A 6 Speed Would Be A Good Move. Any Ideas? Must Be 4x4. Thanks

I like both of mine for the farm. My 89' stays on the farm for the most part. My 04' is kind of my city truck, but I use it to pull trailers when going somewhere. I've had no real big issues with it and I doubt if I'll ever sell it. I think you would like any newer truck with a manual.

What are you doing with the 91? I have been looking for an older auto to put a flat bed on. I am in a wheel chair so I use a trailer mounted lift to get in and out of the tractors, I would like to mount it on a flat bed truck to use around the farm. Just curious.

I'd have to say a 12V, 5 speed for best fuel economy.

ditto on this and for simple power and reliability the second gen trucks can't be beat. The newtrucks have a lot of electricals, thin sheet metal and are pretty easily banged up outside and damaged on the interior. Nothing like the no nonsense tough of the first gen trucks. I love my 2005, but considering you are looking for a ranch truck I'd say 1997. The only bummer with themis the rear drum brakes.
