Will a HX50 work with the stock turbo in a twin setup. I'm looking to build a good twin setup for towing on my 97 5spd.

Thanks

Call PDR and ask them, I don't know how much air a 50 will move but if guessing I would say not as well as some... . this is a guess. What I do know is you'll need roughly twice the air of the little one from the big one, you could sell the 50 and but a PDR prepped HT3B and be a head on money. I cannot over emphasize how well I like this Turbo and the way it responds.

HX50 flow

From what I have been able to find the HX50 flows . 75 kg/sec. and the HX35 flows . 46 kg/sec. I got these flow rates from the Holset site.

With the double airflow theory, the HX60 at . 95 kg/sec. would be a better match to the HX35.

I'm only looking for about 50-55lbs boost for towing with no lag and I was hoping the 50 to 35 combo would make it. I'm not familiar with the BHT3B turbo, do you have a web site with their specs.

Thanks

I don't have the specs on the turbo, all I know is it flows around 1300 CFM. That formula stuff make me scratch my head, I'm too much common sense and not enough book.

Ask me about Aircraft lift and directional control, or a Jet Engine, or an Air Cycle Machine(airconditioner) and I'm in there:p

That's the problem, I let her do it, and it goes the other way, towards the red, can't get cold enough for me!!! :D
