My truck runs a little cold blooded in the winter here in northern Michigan temps are falling and will stay in the mid to upper teens through jan and feb. What is the best setup timing* fuel plate* gov springs, and injectors. etc to go with. Thanks for your help everyone.

My truck does well in the winter with what I have. Just get a winter front to close in the grill. I use the stainless steel grill inserts which look decent as well. I installed a manual push/pull throttle cable to bump the idle in the morning. When it gets cold I fire it up a little early, bump the idle and run the exhaust brake. When I get in 15-20 min later it's toasty warm and runs well.

Maybe the air duct from a 1st gen truck would work, by pass the the intercooler. This air is already heated. The 1st gen trucks got pretty good economy.

just my penny's worth.

it wont work the turbos are mounted different the outlet on the turbo on the non intercooled trucks is on the top whereas the intercooled ones are on the bottom
