Have a great Holiday season, EVERYONE, from the Davidsons in Canyon City Oregon!

Nice looking place. I love the Oregon area. Can't wait to get back in the area.

Remember this for your thanksgiving feast.

You have to eat through the pain:eek::-laf

Gary,

Very nice. I made a trip to Grants Pass and Crater Lake a few years back and really enjoyed, beautiful country.

Happy Holidays everyone.

Paul,

You want balmy, it was 83 here today, tomorrow it will 50. Gotta love Texas weather.

THANKS guys - and I should have mentioned for guys who don't already know, we moved here over 3 years ago from Vacaville California - N. Bay area - after my retirement from the local daily newspaper as Production Manager - had worked there for over 26 years, and in California pretty much all my life.

The climate where we lived was HOT and dry in the summer - and as a dedicated Conservative, the Liberal slant of the state didn't mesh well with my personal leanings. The State of Oregon has many of the same leanings in the larger population areas - but rural areas such as our Canyon City are pretty much Redneck territory - to the point this entire county (Grant County) voted itself as a "UN Free" area where United Nations interference and activities are not permitted...

Anyway, it's a pretty and varied area here, greener, cooler and much prettier - and for those interested, here's a pointer to my website where additional area info can be viewed:

Enjoy! - and again, Happy Holidays... :)

Like you Gary, I too grew up in Cal. Little spot between Sac and Roseville. I moved to Nevada for a job and thank goodness for that. I'll never willingly move back to California. Beautiful place btw.

Gary WONDERFUL pictures. Happy Thanksgiving to all the TDR Family. And when we are giving thanks tomorrow please remember those who are fighting for our country and those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. God Bless -Jason

Kinda looks that way around here, cept for the beautiful scenery. :-laf

We got just enough snow last night to track a cat.

Well, tis the 1st of December, hauled the Christmas stuff out of the attic last night, decorating today, empty boxes go back up tomorrow.

Merry Christmas to all, especially ALL APO's FPO's (been there done that 21 years USAF).

Beautiful place Gary, I'll think about the snow when we RV this month in Always sunny (except for hurricanes) Florida.

I always marvel at TDR, so many guys willing to help so many other guys that most of us will never see. Tommorrow, I am going to meet JCostello who just moved to Tampa, should be fun. Except for the local guys, probably the first "out of area" guy to come into the area.

Make sure you stop and give your significant other an extra hug and a kiss every day. Life can be so short, and you never know what is around the corner. Family member (35 yo, wife / mother of 4, very successful, athletic, spends more time at childrens school than most of the teachers, probably the best wife / mom I have ever seen (except for mine of course)) is going for Thyroid cancer surgery next week. Found out last week. Disconcerning to say the least.

Well, if you get to Central Florida, look me up, we'll do the grill thing (year around activity for us), swap some stories (true or not ;) )

Most of all, as the title says - BEST wishes for the holidays

Bob Weis
