I made an improvement to my back brakes thanks to some posts on here. I disconnected the rear proportioning valve and temperarily strapped it up to the frame. WOW what a difference... I was actually able to lock up a rear wheel (just for an instant till antilok kicked in). now when i step on the brakes I actually feel the rears helping to stop, it doesn't nose dive near as much as it did. I felt the backing plates a few times right after I parked it and there is actually a little heat there, so I know they're working.
This is such an easy fix, I would suggest it to anyone wanting better brake performance before going to the 1 ton chevy cylinders.
