Better Injectors??????

Are there any better injectors than diamond b 370's?

The right 370's will flat out dump fuel and atomize it pretty good too. They will support 500HP plus IMO. How big do you want to go? You need air upgrades to get any larger injectors.

Donnelly did about 510 with 370's. I think Piers had some in last week at BD. Call him on that one though. They may have been honed.



Did you get your HOt-Rod cookin yet? Im willing to help you out if you need it. It sounds like you will have a beast on your hands when all done and running.

How much will I gain if I get them honed? Who does this? Cost?

Honing used injectors is generally a waste of time because the time to get them cleaned can exceed the money to just start with fresh ones or at least fresh nozzle assemblies.



One thing you could gain right now from bigger injectors is a bunch more EGT.



How much HP are you trying to make?

I know about Joe's supposed 510 with 370's, but that's with that 10-12% Las Vegas correction factor. Same truck makes about 450 hp here in Texas.



What's the highest you've made with 370's? Cord made 446 uncorrected, that's the highest I've seen.

The 609. 3 and 609. 5 hp in March 2001 at Silver State in Las Vegas had 1. 05 correction factor (5%). Sorry, Chris, you need to find more hp there in Texas, not more correction factor

I have no doubt you can make a lot of horsepower. But we're talking about stock bosch 370's, not Lawrences custom injectors.



I've heard many times that the typical CF in Vegas is 10-12%.



So what was your CF back on the 510 run with the stock 370's?



But we should host a big dyno event here in Texas for all the big dogs to come to. Give you a guys a little . 97-. 98 CF and have you scratching your head where all the horsepower went.

I know someone very well that has made over 500 corrected, and uncorrected on 370's.
