ISSPRO Boost Gauge Restrictor??

Dakota Digital gauge

I have been reading on this site and other sites as far as what people are doing to there trucks and what they have been doing for better mileage... . From the most part that i have gathered, alot of people are going with the Quadzilla XZT tow module 65hp and 165tq... . Just wondering where the cheapest place is to order one? Or is there a better one to go with other than the Quadzilla XZT? Maybe the SMARTY or FLASGPAQ by superchips? I dont know?

I am just wanting maybe a little more hp for towing, but mostly i want a better mileage... .

Just a suggestion but you can buy direct or ask them for a dealer near you. Also you can probably find them here

From what I understand TST is suppose to be working on a product in this category also and may be out soon.

Whats is mean when you have your injectors HONED... I have just always bought new ones..... Now i have people saying rather than doing a quadzilla or smarty or what ever box i decide. They say do the injectors instead... . Are the stock injectors in a 3rd gen a crappy injector, or do they have problems?

I want what ever is gonna benefit me the most as far as giving me a couple of more horses for towning and the most important whats going to give me the best MPG and keeping my rig sounding healthy?

Rokktek crank sensor, one of the best for MPG and can be changed back if you need to go in for warranty service without being detected.

Had one of those and i dont think it did anything, But smooth out the idle, and it even felt like i lost some off the bottom end... I dont know? MAYBE i should try it again..... how much did it change your mileage?

They take a honing slurry and pressurize it through the injector nozzle. It smoothes out the nozzel holes and increases thier size. It is suppose to give you a better spray pattern and atomize the fuel better.

not much on topic but Amsoil= better milage. at least it did for me :-laf

I've been running Amsoil for about 5 or 6 full tanks now, the only difference I've seen is a slightly lower operating temp and a slightly higher oil pressure. Same applies to my Harley since I started using Amsoil...

with the amsoil its going to take a while for it to over come and "polish" the old wear pattern, dino oil has a irregular wear pattern. thats one reason syn oil is better than dino oil . thanks :-laf

I know that my TST must be helping my mileage. I do know that looking at my gauges that the timing in the TST must be doing something. Before I put on the exhaust or anything, just with the TST, cruise control set at 75mph I was doing 9-10 lbs boost and 570-575* down the freeway. Boost was a little high for optimum mileage, but look at those temps! Timing is the key to mileage, an not friving like a bat outts %@&$! If I drive in the 65mph range it'll do real close to 20mpg, and I only have 2300 miles on the truck!!!!

Can a turbo help mileage? Issue 51 page 152 suggests a possibility if you can lower rpm's while maintaing reasonable boost.

SLOW DOWN!... ... ... ... ... . 60 MPH and below I get 21 MPG hand calc. ed no fill up tricks or fuzzy math. Over 60 it drops off considerably.

Is that better than buying new different ones?

I haven't had a chance to try mine yet. Not installed yet. From what I read about them they are suppose to be great. BTW you will gain some milage by switching all fluids to Amsoil. My 03 gained approximately 1 MPG.
