Quote: "JD It is like those dodge boys we saw at the dyno day. Twin turbos is an aftermarket setup that costs around $15,000 to $25,000 depending on who you get it from and if you install it yourself. It is not an option that makes the Dodge fun to drive every day, more like a race car.

Matt on this forum has it planned to order a 6. 0 PSD twin turbo engine which will smoke one nicely because of the 6. 0 head and powerband.

These Dodges are not a factor. It is unlikely you will ever see one more than a few blocks from his house without a wrecker following him. "

oh please..... what planet are they from...

yeah yeah... . and those dodge boys even put headstuds in... .....

that whole forum sounded like a bad "Dukes Of Hazzard" episode... ... .

Well, ya gotta remember those Powerjokers always mulitipy the cost of parts by a factor of ten (Fordspeak) so they can understand each other, you know - a set of injectors for a CTD $300/a set of injectors for a Powerjoke $3,000.

Im working on my $25,000 twin set up right now! Its the upscale version, Its all spraypainted piping. Its almost a totally custom set of twins. Blue oval rule of ten $2500= $25,000.

Also applies to the 6. 0's, for every 1 Dodge that has a problem they have 10.

Maybe he needs to come up to OKC... ... . 25k, I need to get out and build twins for a living... ... . do these guys know what I do for a living.

That's pretty funny!... . speaking of fords, I got to tow one today! While it was hooked up to a 5th wheel! I wish I could have gotten pictures. I was talking to the guy about what the problem with it might be, I suggested that the emblem on the grill of the truck was his culprit, soooooo I asked if he wanted to borrow one of mine til he could make it to the Dodge dealership to trade in his PSD. He didn't think it was very funny. :-laf

I keep thinking about this race on the highway were as I'm passing 100 I look back and I can see there truck breaking out of the smoke.

That's Ford boys for you. Jealous and exaggerating. There is something better than the V8 too, its called an I-6. And for $25,000 bucks those twins better be solid gold with titanium hastaloy or inconel turbines and compressors. They should not be boasting about a twin turbo PSD, they can't get the single version PSDs to run right. And where they going to plumb the 2nd charger, on the fender?
