Has anyone put these on their truck? I have Michelin on it now and have been a longtime fan of Michelin, I still have over half the tread life left on the tires and the sidewalls look pretty bad with weather checking. Michelin says not a warranty issue.

Looking at tires for the truck, I have these on a TT that our Son has now seem to be a good tire.

Same size as the Michelin's Just thinking of different ideas

I have had the BFG Commercial TA on my 38'gooseneck for 7 years...seems to hold up (weather wise) better than my Michelin LTX that i have on my '95 as they are about the same age and look terrible (light micro cracking). I would probably buy them just based on that alone. On a side note...it's the only 16' tire that has lived on my gooseneck when loaded.

have them on on my 06 dually, gonna put them on my38`` FW soon...........great tire. Seen a lot of em on both trucks n fivers.

Thanks for your thoughts I had them on a Travel Trailer and they still are my Son own's it now!! no weather checking at all, but living in MT the trailer is kept in a covered enclosure so why should they. I also have them on a stock trailer and they wear like iron and these are outside and still have no weather checking, I had not seen or heard of any that had them on trucks, that is what I was looking for. Thank you both for the insight.

Ran the commercial T/A's on several of our trucks. Good tires and last about 60K on dually 4x4 with 7x16 trailers attached 100% of the time. After a bad winter last year with far too many incidents on winter roads we are using BFG All Terrains this winter and all the guys are reporting that the winter traction is far superior. They however hang onto stones something fierce on gravel.
