I'm thinking of changing over to BFG AT's this time around and I kind of remembre something from a couple years ago with a guy having a problem with BFG AT's mounted on the chrome clad wheels, forcing the chrome to come off because of the way the AT is made, it has a large lip,rim protector right at the bead of the wheel.

Anyone have this problem ?

I've been running cooper discoverer ST's for awhile, but both sets I've had got dry rot cracks in them with a year (and a set on my buddies truck), I had the first set pro prated and got a second set. The second set did the same thing, so I'm reluctant to go for a third set.

Was thinking of switching to the BFG AT's. I've run plenty of those when I had Dakota's and Rangers and they worked real well.

Unless someone has another suggestion.

Thanks,

Nick

I have some 285/70 Load Range E BFG AT's on my truck. Had them installed in May 2009. So far no issues.

I have the stock rims also.
