BFG Mud Terrain 35x12.5x17s without leveling kit?

Has anyone tried running 35x12. 5x17 BF Goodrich Mud Terrains on the stock wheels without a leveling kit?

I raised my truck 3" in the front and the 35's just fit however my wheels do extend out a little from the factory ones. Try taking it to a tire shop and have them mount one up on the stock wheel.

from bfg's specs, the mud t/a is . 3" taller than the 315/70/17 all terrain. . it should be ok, cause that is only 0. 150" per side of the tire taller...
