BG Status

My truck that I re-ordered on 30 Dec is still in BG status, been there since 8 January. DC customer service says it will be there for AT LEAST another 2 weeks. Anybody else have their new pickup held up that long?

I have heard two things and I'm not sure if they are true. One is the trucks are running short of bed's and the second is that the navigation radio is also on back order for up to three weeks. The truck will not enter a build untill all parts are on hand for it to be built with, they will not stop the line and wait for parts. My truck I am ordering this week will take at least three months to arrive at the dealers and that is if I am lucky.

My truck is stuck on D1 status since the 20th of Jan. I am wondering what the holdup is also? I ordered mine on 12/30/03.
