Bhaf ( Napa 2790)

I want to purchase the NAPA BHAF; however when I checked with my local NAPA store, they priced the filter at $55. 89. I did a search on this site and a lot of you guys are paying $32+ for this filter. What gives? Has NAPA raised the price since the demand for these filters has grown, substantially I'm sure. This store does not stock the filter but can get it from their warehouse in one day. Also, I did call Cummins Southern Plaines here in Fort Worth and they sell the Fleetguard AH19037 ( BHAF) for $36. 58 so I guess I will have them order the Fleetguard filter for me.

Southern plains price is just like the one here in OKC, I just replaced the AH19037 with a AH19002 (8") fiberglass impregeted filter and wire msh on the inside also for $72. 00.

Bill my Napa was the same way. $50+ for the BHAF so I said forget it, Black Mountain Diesel's grand opening was coming up I figured I'd get one then. Well that came and went and I was so caught up in getting rides in other peoples trucks that I forgot to ask about the BHAF.



Started to get one last month and thought "I'm getting a Mega Cannon for Christmas so why waste $40-50?"



If your sure your going to stay with the BHAF have your local Cummins order it for you. That is where your gonna get the best price anyhow!

I've been getting mine at Southwest International in McKinney for $30. The closest Southern Plains to me wanted $40 something when I started looking for one about a year ago. I think SW has a shop in FW but I'm not sure. I know there's one in Dallas on Irving Blvd. BTW, they have good prices on oil & fuel filters.

I just went to Cummins Southern Plains in Houston Friday and the parts man told me $48. 00. I call them earlier in the week and they told me $33. 00. They did not have it anyway , so I got my local independent parts store to get me one. It will be here Saturday and it will be a Wix. It will cost around $51. 00. I also call Napa and they told me $55. 00
