I'm trying to find a p/n for the BHAF. I did a search and found

a Fleetguard filter with the inner screen,p/n AH 19004 but,

I can't find a Fleetguard BHAF P/N for a filter without the screen.

I was planning to keep my K&N but, decided to try the BHAF

with a prefilter to see how it performs. If someone could give

me the P/N,I would appreciate it.

Yes,my OLD Smoky Mount arrived a couple days ago.

I couldn't find a part number with the instruction sheet.

I e-mailed him but, I think my message ended up in

cyber-space. Thanks for the P/N.

AH19037 does not have the inner screen, and I'm not certain what the part number is for the one that does have the inner screen. Adding the inner screen into the picture seems to double the price of the filter, for what it's worth.

I'd been using the smaller version of the BHAF (forget the part number) which some refer to as the MHAF--it's 8" diameter instead of 10". Anyway, I'd picked up the one with the inner screen, and when I replace it I think I'll get one without it. At the moment, I'm thinking an AH19037 with a water resistant Outerwears cover.

Hey Underdog,

Sorry I couldn't get back to you. I left town for a few days, came back for one, and then left for Indianapolis for 5 days. I just got back at 3:00am. The P/N for the BHAF is AH19037. There is a marine version available with an inner screen. I believe the cost is considerably higher. I don't have the P/N for it, but it can be found pretty easily through Fleetguard. I like the Outerwears pre-filter because it keeps the big chunks out of the pleats and extends the filter life. Also, I cut a larger hole by the headlight to allow for more airflow. I just wanted to be sure that the filter wouldn’t get any water on it from driving in a hard rain. That hasn't been a problem though.

Is there a big difference between these filters? Is the marine better because of the inner screen? Just curious as I need to get a bhaf soon...

Yeah price. I don't see a need for the inner screen, hopefully nothing big enough makes it that far through the filter. BHAF fleetguard AH19037 is what I got for $39. Napa BHAF pn is 2790 price quoted at $50. BHAF is a term we use to call this filter. Many manufacturers make this filter. If you called Fleetguard and asked for their BHAF, they'd probly say 'huh'?

Actually take the money difference between the marine and auto BHAF and put it towards the Outerwears prefilter, which I think is somewhat pricey itself. Check my RR album for size compare btwn BHAF and KN and oem airbox.

We should really put that list in the "performance steps" section somewhere.
