BHAF prefilter

I found an easy prefiler for my BHAF. I used two Powerstroke foam prefilters. They fit like a glove and look good too.

I wonder if you coated them with some kind of sticky oil, like the stuff made for foam airfilters in dirt bikes it would have a water repelling effect?

How would someone (namely me!) get their hands on these prefilters?

TD, that might not be such a good idea. The paper air filter may try and soak up the oil from the prefilter and become a gooey mess.

I'm not sure if they can be bought separate from the main filter. I get mine at work (utility authority garage) where they are changed every 3 months. They come out like new, just need to be cleaned up a little.

MOWPAR, can you liberate some from the trash can for your TDR buddies?

i'm with the ram4sam crowd -- not a good idea (oil/paper = material breakdown.

I second the outerwears. get the waterproof version. You can get almost any color you want.
