Identifying Injectors?????

I found a slightly smaller BHAF that measures 8. 5" dia. along with a real nifty mount. This filter (donaldson) flows 470. I know that is less than the original BHAF.

What is the flow of the stock filter? I run the RE=0880 now, but have not been happy with oil anylisis since doing so. I am not bombed enough to need the full BHAF and I am not really fond of how tight it fits in there.

Any thoughts, comments, flames, appreciated.

P. S Fleetguard also has this filter in regular and marine versions. Which is what I will use.

That looks like what some call the MHAF. I forget the flow numbers, but the filter is adequate for my very mild BOMB's, and if you want the cfm number call Fleetguard at their 1-800-22FILTER. If you give them Fleetguard part numbers, they'll quote you cfm ratings and sq inches of area for MHAF, BHAF, and "Stock" air filters (Dodge application).

You can get the part number from my signature, because I'm using the Fleetguard version with an Outerwears prefilter.

My last oil analysis had Silicon at 4 ppm, with 23,902 miles on the oil. I do change the oil filters more often than most; full flow every 5k and bypass filter every 15k.

Before the MHAF, I was using the RE-880, but with a foam pre-filter. Silicon was somewhat higher than now, but my perception is that Silicon has been going steadily down as the engine matures, no matter what air filters I run. I was at 115k miles at the last oil sample.

I really like their site and have bought lots of exhaust stuff from them. Just dont look at the application for it. (Its used in the powerstroke version of the BHAF);) But if I dont tell my truck, I don't think she will know.

I have been running the AH1141 for about six months now and love it. I would like to know where you get the outer wear and is it a good fit. I always ran them on my sand buggies and they worked great. Richard
