I've got an AFE air filter system with the little round filter. I'd like to put a paper one in for dusty season on the farm. The AFE filter is 8" across and 8" long with a 2" long neck that clamps onto the 4" pipe. Where would guy find something like that? I tried the local farm store that sells baldwin filters, but they weren't much help. I'd put in the stock airbox, but I'm not sure that it would fit with my turbo kit, I guess I could make it fit, but that's work. Any ideas?

An oiled element should provide far better dust protection than simple paper, why not stick with your AFE?

Man I'd go with one of those outerwear things, I run one on my racing quad w/ a k&n and kicks but while it filtersOo.

I may try the precleaner outerwear thing. I used one on my banshee in the sand hills, seamed to work good.

I love my set up now. The power comes on so smooth and pulls hard. No surging on cruise, and is very drivable. No codes or check engine lights and the rpms don't hang near as bad when shifting. But, DDIII injectors and the EZ Edge on level 4 only make a little bit more power than just a Bully Dog Box. We'll see at the track this weekend.



I'm not near done with my truck and the EZ doesn't do timing so it's stackable with the new pulse width and timing boxes when they come out, and I wanted to do injectors anyway. I'll give ya'll a full report on my times friday night in the Comp section on Saturday morning. Or ya'll can just come out and watch in Penwell, Texas and cheer me on.



By the way, my stock clutch is still holding and feels real stout.
