I know for a fact that it had oil going to it cause it made a huge mess when we first started it up... I forgot to tighten the fitting. Today I was trying to get every thing all snugged up and I thought I dropped a wrench in the air filter. While I was down there I thought I would try the shaft and the sucker was FROZE up. There was no oil leaks and the line had no kinks.

I have to ship the truck back to the states Monday, so there is nothing I can do. I need to know how much Approx. it cost to rebuild one of these. Its a brand new Garrett with less than 80 miles on it.

I cant win with this thing. thanks

If the shaft is still in one piece and not welded to the bearing, do it yourself, around 80 bucks. Send it back, the cost is dependant on damage. For what it's worth, pre lube is the warrantys friend. Mike

I really cant tell what is wrong with it. I know the cold side wont turn. I have to have the truck ready to ship for Monday so I have no time. Crappy situation but its what I have. Hopefully it isnt too bad off.

We put it on I poured oil down the oil feed line and didnt get it tight just started on the fitting. When i started it it sprayed oil everywhere so I know it was being supplied oil in the beggining anyways. I have not a clue as to why it would stop getting oil. My best guess is that the line was routed too close to the hotside on the small charger.

I'm on super tight budget and was trying to get an idea what I need to rat hole away.

Thanks I appreciate it.

No. Its only a few inches long and about 3/4 of an inch in diameter straight into the block. It goes straight from the turbo to the motor... . no bends or anything.
