Are you looking for towing tires or offroad tires or what? What do you mean by non-replaceable war Michelins? Like 11. 00R16 XL's or the like? I know of a couple guys who might be able to get you 11. 00R16 XL's (~39x12) or 325/85/16 XML's (~38x13) for fairly cheap...

ive got 1100 x 16 xl's i bought them new. i wouldnt mind a used lower tread set for street. i just cant see wearing mine on 1200mile trip. tire wear is exponential, not linear.

due to the war michelin wont sell any at any price to civilians. i love my tires, just pavement is hard on them. i can get stock gm rims for the trip and throw my deadlocked tires in the back, and change them when i get there.

There's a guy on another board I'm on - if memory serves, he's got 325/85/16 Michelin XML's with 70% tread for $155 each, plus shipping truck freight. I can get you his email addy if you're interested. I'm pretty sure he's in NY.
