CHECK OUT THIS WEB SIGHT IF YOUR LOOKIN FOR A EXHAUST SYSTEM FOR CHEAP. I BOUGHT THE SYSTEM FOR MY 2003 CUMMINS AND I COULD NOT BE MORE HAPPY. IT TOOK ABOUT 2 1/2 HOURS TO INSTALL THATS WITH TAKING THE OLD SYSTEM OFF.

EVERY THING WENT GREAT NO CUTTING AND EVERYTHING LINED UP AND BOLTED DOWN PERFECT IT IS 4" OFF THE TURBO THEN GOES TO 5" ALL THE WAY TO THE TAIL PIPE THE MUFFLER IS A DONALDSON WITCH MAKES MUFFLERS FOR ALL TYPES OF DIESELS.

I ORDERED IT ON A FRIDAY AND IT CAME THE NEXT WEEK BY WED.

VERY NICE PRODUCT AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE THAT IS LOOKIN FOR BIGGER EXHAUST FOR THE 03" MARKET I WILL TRY TO GET SOME PIC SO YOU CAN SEE.

AND NO I DON'T WORK FOR THE COMPANY.

Since this is your second post let me extend a warm welcome to the TDR. Thanks for the link as I am sure many will be checking it out (including myself).



Also, in my TDR infancy (which was not to long ago) I made the same mistake as you by typing in all CAPITOLS. This is considered SHOUTING so please use lower case letters.

just to make sure everyone knows this is a 4" to 5" system

the turbo down pipe is 4" and then goes to 5" this being the long pipe muffler and tail pipe.

Thanks for the link. Do you know if the 5" is 14 or 16 gauge? Looked like most if not all the BE was 16.

I've been giving that a lot of thought lately, and I think I'm going to go with a 4" because of the spare and because of clearance above the axle hump with the B&W gooseneck hitch I am installing. 4" should be plenty anyway.

What size is the stock exhaust on your '03 ??

A portion is 3. 5 and the muffler is restrictive.

Since the stock exhaust size is 4 inch from the stock muffler back, why not replace the 3 1/2 inch with a custom 4 inch turbo back pipe a 4 inch low restriction muffler? That would save some money and a less restrictive exhaust system.

2003 exhaust

Morning,



We looked at doing just a down pipe, intermediate and muffler kit, but getting the factory system off and then making sure everybody could get it to fit was a "maybe" possibility. Plus we would have to modify the muffler to fit the Dodge mounting position to tail pipe as well. The factory tail pipe is pretty good for a factory piece, but ours has the polished tip and fits the system correctly, plus the cost differential wasn't going to be that large anyway as far as savings goes.

Hi, This is my first diesel and my first post. I'm interested in putting a new exhaust on. I don't tow anything and my biggest concern is sound. Which systems will make my truck sound the most like the 2nd generation. I want it LOUD and obnoxious!
