Competition Division 3

Off Roading Coil spacers and tire size

:) Nobody in our gang won anything official today but I know I had a wonderful time and I think everybody else did too. I had the unmitigated pleasure of running head to head with Mad Dog and WON by 0. 1198 sec.

Now before you all rush to call me for engine tuning tips please note we are talking 14sec. runs here.

I have to tell you he took it like a man and we had, rather I had a lot of fun with it. Plus I got to meet his wonderful Family.

Ken Diaz of Turbo Auto Diesel and his wife cooked and shared their motor home, shop trailer and most importantly their shade.

:cool:

Ben Spencer of A-2-Z diesel took care of Safety & Security. :-{}

Jim O and Alan W helped me resist buying a third Generation truck any time soon. To top it off I got to meet Nathan and Opei/Opea (sp?) from Washington. Nathan’s truck was very quick and would have won A class if the heave smoke he was putting out hadn’t caused a red light . I had the same problem ( or maybe I cut the light a little too close) on my 1st run. All the same we had a blast and if you could have been there and weren’t shame on you. Well there’s always next time. :D

It was great!!

Truckin Nationals in Phx.

I lined up to stage only to see I had to race MADDOG!I was

amazed how fast his truck really was!!!My 03 runs 15. 8's and he left me like I was stopped to watch the show!!!I We all watched maddog make history on sat. with a 11. 8 then back it up with a 11. 6. My wife said the fans in the stands were all floored that a diesel could be that fast!!!Then u have Jim Spenser per forming full length burn outs!What a crowd pleaser. Last We all want to Thank Kenny And his lovely wife of Turbo Auto Diesel a big thank you,he brought the Nicest race trailer/shop I have seen. Then he and his wife fed all of diesel heads both days.

Alan in AZ

Oo. Oo. Oo.

:) No kidding. it doesn't't matter how far down the track you are when that dog wagon launches it is only a matter of a second or two before he looms LARGE in your rear-view mirror. ;)

That truck is FAST and while his 0 to 60 times sucked Sunday his 60 to 109 times were awesome. My thanks again to everyone who helped make this a great weekend of Diesel Dueling:D :cool:
