F1 injector ?

injector change

I can't provide any feedback. This is a new one to me but I did look it up and read the installation proceedures. It looks good. I like the bypass plug in case you loan your truck out (yeah right) and you don't want anyone hot rodding around. I don't know if other modules have this.

It would be nice to hear from people who have used this though.

Also, interesting info/install on a Ford.

Great. now I have it narrowed to 4 tuners to consider.

Edge Juice

Diablo Predator

Granatelli Big G

Quad XZT or Zxillaraider

I know there are others but I think this is my short list.

Might want to be Patient

Banks and TST are both working on mileage only boxes. NO fueling increase, just timing for mileage.

It's not much but I emailed Granatelli to inquire as to how the Big G makes it's power and this is the reply I received:

The module makes power by modifying the fuel injection pressure, F/I timing,

Injector Pulse Width and boosts tables.

The de-fueling feature is available when using our module and monitor

combined. It is the monitor itself that lets you set the defueling feature .

The programming in the module itself however is designed to keep EGT's at a

safe level. However it is recommended that you have a larger diameter

exhaust and aftermarket intake if you plan to run the truck on the highest

power setting. The module is designed to work safely with factory drivetrain

at all power levels.

The module is a direct plug and play. It requires no splicing or cutting.

The harness provided comes with OEM style connectors which makes

installation clean and simple.

The DiabloSport Predator will add up to 30% fuel economy increase depending on driving style. Our in house '03 Gen III Cummins Diesel, we had an increase of 4 mpg on the 100 HP tune. Our tunes will modify Injection Timing and duration, which will indirectly increase fuel pressure. However, we do not make power by increasing the pressure directly. Most users using the Predator and a puck get great mileage gains, and smooth power as well. This may be what you are looking for to save a few dollars at the pump, Benson!

;)

I lost 1 mpg on a regular run I make once a week.

I run 218 miles @ 55mph,light traffic. Temp 85 sunny.

I get 26 to 26. 9 calc. week in week out.

Tried millage minder, lost one mpg. booth test.

Its going back for refund
