Another issue with my "just absolutely wonderful" 2015 Big Horn fifth wheel. It has the six point automatic hydraulic leveling system by Lippert. Have a small leak where the hydraulic line passes thru the frame on the left side at the rearmost leveling jack. Appears Heartland ran the line thru the frame hole and never bothered to place any type of insulation around the hole opening so eventually it wore a hole in the line. Sorta what you expect from the RV industry.
Dealer repair is to replace the entire hydraulic line which would be expensive since there is quite a bit of labor involved plus the cost of the part. They do not attempt to repair the line due to the high pressure.

Has anyone had experience repairing the hydraulic lines on a fifth wheel.

You will have to pull the line to put a splice in it and if it is just the right length splicing will usually make it too short. Which is why the usually just replace the line. If you can turn wrenches take it out and take it to any place that builds hydraulic hoses and have it repaired or new one made. Sometime new ones are cheaper than repairs as the cost of the hose ends adds up when you go to splicing them.
 
I agree, the line will have to come off and spliced in one fashion or another or a new line made. Nothing will seal the hole. Since it’s where the hose goes through the frame, I’d cut the existing hose where the hole is, crimp some FJ fittings on the ends, and putting a JIC bulkhead fitting in the hole of the frame.
 
To replace your line tug on it and you will most likely see a hose move at another jack as the systems are daisy chained. Simply hook up your truck and raise all jacks. Disconnect the hose at each end. Tie a line to one end and pull thru leaving the pull lune in place of the bad line. Take the line to NAPA or a hydraulic hose shop and have them make you a new one. Tie on the pull line and pull the new hose thru. Tighten the ends and cycle the effected landing gear a few times to get the air out. Check your level with all rams up and slides in. Adjust fluid level if needed.
