Big Horn / Lone Star chrome pieces on Rocker Panels

Hi, I'm thinking about getting my rocker panels and wheel wells sprayed with Line-X. I've already got the bed done and love it. My only question is what to do about the chrome trim under the doors. The way I see it there are three options:

1. Get those sprayed as well.

2. Get those taped over and not sprayed.

3. Take them off and get it all sprayed.



My main question is, if I do number 3, how do I take them off and how big are the holes that attach them and what should I do about those wholes?



But also, which option do you think I should pick?

If you are talking about the door spears they are held on with adhesive and can be removed. Personally I like them because they do protect the doors in parking lots, you can get new black spears.



I would not spray them with lineX since they are flexible, don't know how well it would hold up.
