I was wondering who makes large injectors for our trucks? Are we limited to the POD's or does someone out there make em bigger?

Any good combinations w/turbo's that our pumps can handle in stock configuration, or are we limited to the pump?

There are guys out there who can custom make EDMs, but you are looking at $800+ a set. Bill has PODs I think, and has more fuel than his turbo can huff air at. SO, the fuelling is available, jus thave to ask what you want to spend.

I was wondering if something like a hx-35 w/ 12 wastegate would work well with a set of POD's. My current turbo , stock, has over 330 k on it and a lot of play. Just wondering what turbo set-up with injectors, probably POD's, would be the right combination, as I only want to buy things once.

I'm no expert, if you are concerned about the limit of the pump, then the HX 35 will be too small.

I think it's a good all around turbo for mid power range in our trucks... especially if you "upstage" it.

But for a turbo that can feed the max the pump can deliver, you'll need to make another choice.

Hopefully Bill or Stomp or one of the other high power guys will weigh in here.

I have a hx35/40 12cm exh with 190's and can get up to 1400 pulling my toys up Donner without much trouble will get some POD's or something from dynamite diesel this winter but will change the exhaust housing

I don't have the POD's no more. Well they are actually in the other truck now. I got a custom set of EDM's made by www.scheiddiesel.com. POD's are limited if you wanna make more than 350rwhp. I would also bet they would strain your injection pump at that or above fueling level. 4 holes at . 012ish IIRC. Blowing through a straw etc.

What pump you talkin about, the injection or supply pump?

Don't just settle for something because of a fancy website, or just because it's listed as off the shelf, or the only site that says it's for a 1st gen etc. I would look into one of the reputable fuel injection shops/pump/injector builders etc.

All depends on how you intend to use the truck. One combo might work well in a street/strip app, but not well towing.

5x. 014 EDM's and an H2E single here. Talk to any of the pulling shops - Scheid, ADP, EEP, Haisley - and they can probably get you some custom EDM's made.

I was referring to the injection pump. I was thinking about the PODS. Smoke is not a concern to me, as I use my right foot as the adjuster of soot. I don't know who to buy them off of or even if that is the right injector for me. I have done some research but not enough to make a decision.

I will be doing some towing but nothing over 7k. THis is more for play than work, although it may be my daily driver. I will also be in need of a turbo, but have held off on that till I make the decision of injectors. I am not in a hurry, as I am still doing the body on it, but hope to have it finished maybe by March 07.
