Just installed a 3GSK, #10 plate and KDP kit all at once. HOLY CRAP is my truck fun!! Oo. :D :D :D

Only problem now is that it won't idle at all. Just like turing off the ignition when I let off the throttle. That means I have to go back in and tighten up those springs I just put in, correct? That was the only part of the operation that I was questioning myself on. I figure that the low idle adjust isn't for something that far off.

Thanx

Justin

Yeah, just try to get the spring lock nuts at the same height as each other and/or try tightening them down a click or two. If that doesn't help then you may have to adjust the low idle screw some. I had to call Piers to get some ideas on where to start first, but after getting the lock nuts the same height as before I removed the stock springs, I had to do a small adjustment on the low idle screw. Don't mess with the high idle screw.

Have fun! Now you'll be wanting injectors and a bigger turbo real soon like me!!

JGheen, How do you like that twin ram intake? My brother has the single ram but wanted to know how the twin was on the 12v's

I think it runs better than the stocker as it adds volume to the intake and distributes the air to all 6 cylinders a lot better. Although I have not done a comparision run on the dyno, but others will argue that it does absolutely nothing for power, but I believe it does(nothing earth shattering though) as well as help the engine breathe more efficently.

Also, it does not interfere with any adjustments I like to make with my AFC or torque plate as I can change plates and adjust the AFC VERY easily. Not sure why so many others seem to have issues accessing the AFC, it is just as easy if not easier as with the stock manifold.

When I put my gsk in the more I tightened the springs the more the idle went up. They have been in for about a month and my idle is still above 1000rpms. Havent taken time to mess with it yet.

Got my baby to idle, took me 3 hours, though (kept dropping things). And those springs were a ***** to turn!!

Thanx

Justin

One last thing, what wire should I splice for my themocouple's power source?

Well if you really think that you should power the thermocouple... I guess direct to the battery would be the best way to do it!! :) You would get the best spark that way!! You will of course want to keep your glove box filled with replacements as I'm sure that all your freinds will also want to see the spark... .....
