Once again, I have another question for a buddy of mine, he wants to do some mild cheap stuff to his 02 with an auto and 4x4. Right now its totally stock, and he has a warranty on the motor and trans. I saw some higher HP injectors on e-bay and was wondering what those would do as far as performance and warranty? I also saw a programmer from Hypertech (I think). We are going to put a fleetguard air filter and he already did the straight pipe stuff. Any ideas for cheap, non warranty voiding HP? Thanks again

If you don't want to void the warranty, leave it stock. Injectors WILL void the warranty, unless he takes them out and puts the stockers back in when he takes it in, unless the work being done doesn't require removal of the injectors (you can't really tell they've been changed without taking them out). The only things that won't void the warranty are the filter and exhaust. For a little mild HP for now until the warranty is up, I'd say get an Edge EZ, its easy to install and easy to remove if warranty work is needed and totally undetectable by diagnostic tools when its off.
