Biggest air filter now?

Since i have been gone so long, i was just wondering what is the largest or best flowing filter system available for the 24v now?. When i was last on here regulary, it was a K&N RE-0880 with or without the Psychotty. Anything flowing better yet?. If not, ill just clean my RE-0880 and stick with it.

The pictures don't do it justice. This is a very trick and quality piece. The filter is way bigger than it looks.

EMD its good to see your back with us again. Ditto the above. The AFE mega cannon or now funnel ram whatever they are calling it is awesome. I wasn't going to get one but just happen to be at the right place at the right time (for once) and got one heck of a deal on it that I could not pass up. Just put it on last week but it is definitely a quality piece of work. If I remember right this thing flows around 860 or so which is definitely more than the K & N 880 which I think flows 650ish. Could be wrong on those numbers though.

Do a search for "BHAF" and take a look at it. It is a huge filter, but I have no idea what it flows. The nice thing is that it is a dry filter as in you don't have to oil it.

Part No. 19037 flows 915 CFM according to fleetguard.

If I remember correctly the BHAF flows 900 at 4" of H20. In a comnparison chart posted a while back, a BHAF was around 400 at 1. 5" H2O while the mega cannon was 800+ at 1. 5" H2O.

Slybones, Jim (CUMNTSTKN) likes the AFE much better than the BHAF on his mightily BOMBed rig. The low 700hp engine of his old truck was sucking the BHAF in on itself. He doesn't have that problem with the AFE Megacannon. That's proof enough for me that the Megacannon is the way to go if you've got it really cranked up.

Sickly got more hp with the aFe than anything else, even nothing on the turbo inlet at all. Call Mr. Bob



OK, it wasn't a lot more, but every 4-5 hp count!

Ditto on the AFE Mega Cannon, very high quality/impressive and if you like the sound of the turbo whistle, this is definetly the system you want, its LOUD, but in a good way
