Picture in my newspaper today of Donna Vazquez of Vernon, NJ with her 286 pound English Mastiff, 'Moose'. Live with Regis and Kelly named Moose the largest dog in America. The papers website does not have the picture or else I would have posted it.
286 is huge, Baxter, my largest, tips the scales at 190 and HE IS BIG. I can't even imagine 286 lbs. You would have to purchase a diesel powered snow shovel for a pooper scooper !
I'm wondering if it's my town... I'll have to see if I can get a pic. of the dog if she lives in Vernon Twp.
I'm with ya, DarrellB !!! That must be the only dog in the world I'd truly love to kick, hard enough to elongate those fat stumpy legs of hers that hold up that ugly liberal tail... ...
boys, boys, you are talking about the former FIRST LADY of the us of a, and a temporary resident and honorable senator from the great state of new york. PLEASE show a little respect. not too much, mind you--even a little may be too much!!
Okay, I got the scoop (no pun intented). The dog is in my town, my sister in law knows the owners. She says that Moose might actually weigh more than 286 lbs. as they have trouble getting all of him on the scale. I know where they are coming from, Baxter barely fits on those veterinary scales.
As for Jane, I'll volunteer for the V Vets & all other US Citizens by saying #ad

I was told that someone just outside Phoenix is crossing the Bull Mastif, Rotwiller & Pit bull. He charges a ton of $ for them. Got to look great in the yard.
I have 3 dogs, but the one I love the most is a male Pit Bull. He is very sweet. 75 lbs of rock hard muscle and moves like a cat. These dogs get a bad rap, because idiots get them and make them mean to protect their drug houses in the slums. Then the media, you know our new age tabloid journalism calls any dog that attacks someone a Pit Bull. I keep all of my dogs under close supervision (in house, fenced yard, alway walk on a lead) not to protect people from my dog but to protect my dogs from people
We've got a male Pit Bull & a female Dalmation. The Bull boy is brindle, white feet & chest. By far the best dog we've ever had. Loves kids. Ditto on the bad rap. They're just bred for muscle & trained to be mean. This guy is a big weenie, but don't you dare attack the Dalmation, there will be S to pay.
I couldn't agree with you more. I remember when I was a kid, everybody was down on German sheppards, then it was Dobermins, then it was Rottwielers, then it was Pit Bulls, next it will probably be KILLER TOY POODLES I've always said it's how they are raised no matter what the breed. I've got two Redneck Junkyard Purabreds and I wouldn't trade them for nothing. They both love the grandkids and share the yard with 3 Junkyard Cats. NO PROBLEMS
Bigsaint,
How about getting a pic of that 286lb. monster puppy, since you sound like you got an inside connection. We want to see it.
