Competition 24V max rpm, smarty, drag comp, redline, etc...

Just saw the spread on your Dakota in Diesel Power. :D

I wanted to ask where I could get myself the fitting that's installed in the factory return line port in your injection pump. It's the answer to a problem i've been tossing around in my head.

Thank you for the help.

It will be tomorrow before I can load a picture of it.

It appears to be a 90 degree 12mm O-ring boss fitting with about a -6 or -8an thread male nipple facing the rear of the pump.

It completely omits the overflow valve and clears the head. . the two things i've been looking to do. I just don't have the resources to find the fitting.

Sweeeeeeeet. Gut and drill the overflow valve or find a banjo and i'm set.

Are the factory thread inserts in the ports 12mm or 14mm?

I run a 90 elbow with a -6 in to an aeromotive boost compensation bypass regulator Ill find the part number , but it’s a simple aeroquip fitting . use a aeromotive 1000 pump and set the pressure on 20 to 30 at a zero boost , and have the bypass raise pressure one for one as boost goes up

Greg... . Got that exact setup. The fitting at the pump for the return into the reg is what's got me held up for the time being. (and money) I popped for the marine grade ISO certified pump though.

Could someone tell me which issue of Diesel Power This Diesel Dakota was in i'd like to see it.

I tried to find the article on their website and either overlooked it or it's not online.

Sfrey. That is what I had in mind all along but didn't have a source for the fitting.

I'm good to go now though.
