I bought your transmission. I know you personally built it. (Twice, actually as my truck is 2WD ;) ). Made the truck go way fast :D .

Lana, however, was not happy at all  , she wanted the truck and trailer to go slower downhill. So I bought the Smart Controller, all I can say is, WOW :D ! With the Pac-Brake on and in lock-up with one of those squashed jelly beans way too close, I can let-off the go-pedal and the truck stands on it's nose, in the mirror I see tire smoke from the idiot locking his brakes  . The best part, though, is being able to take an interchange with the trailer, without touching the whoa-pedal.

Now, I know I went over the mileage on the last filter and fluid change, (20K). But here's a picture of what was in the bottom of the pan. Keep in mind guys, I pull a BIG A$$ 5W trailer, (not all the time), I've done a few  burn-outs, had the truck (without trailer, well over 100MPH) and it's my daily driver, 50 miles + to work and back), and it's cleaner than the first change!

Can't and won't speak for Bill but that looks normal from the pic, clutch fuzz not metal, the shiny stuff is bad..... actual clutch material, fuzz is normal. Last time I had my pan off I had just a tad of fuzz but not metal, my transmission has almost 35K on it and at about 600 hp now!

That is basically nothing in the pan, IMO anyway. Mine had crap easily 3/16th" thick in the bottom last time with a lot more brass than I should have seen and some aluminum particles for good measure  . Even had a bunch of crap on the magnet. That was a LONG time ago, still works OK for the most part.

If mine looks like that 20K miles later I will be VERY impressed.

My point...

is, even after an extended change interval, there appears to be minimal wear.

The shiny stuff in the bottom of the pan in the photo is just that. The bottom of the pan.

Sorry if I confused anyone. The original post was intended as a praise post of DTT's work and capabilities.
