Okay, so what companies out there make billet heads for pulling tractors? Just trying to get a list of vendors together to see who to check with regarding a possible run of billet heads for the 5. 9...

Why are you wanting to get a billet head? Are you building a pulling truck, drag truck, rail???

waste of time, soon as you spend 10,000 to get it done whatever associations your dealing with will ban it, then your f'd. Plus it's plenty easy to make over 800hp with a worked over stock head.

I'll try to talk to JR and see what he has to say about the heads. Staab might be our best shot - they say on their website 'other inquiries invited', so who knows?



Does anyone know if a billet 5. 9 head has been done before? I've heard it has, but no firm info...

I had heard it was done also--Scheids or Van Haisley or Enterprise was the scuttlebutt if I remember correctly, but it may have been an internet hoax--chris
