I had my transmission done almost a year ago by massdiesel. I belive back then dtt didnt have billet shafts available. Now I am left wondering, should I get the new shaft now or wait till it snaps. Does it just slide out when the transmission is pulled or do you have to tear into the insides of the transmission. Also when the shaft fails does it do any other $$damage$$? My truck is 400HP now and I plan on going to 450-500.

Yeah that's next for me . ... . Go on back up to Scotts and swap OUT my 93% in favor of a 89% and go for billet shafts ..... someday. I hope sooner than later as the power level has increased once again well into shaftsnapping territory ... ... . god I hate it when that happens  :p
