Finally got it in, below is a pic looking directly downward over the radiator. I used a Painless water pump relay kit and was able to use the original rad hose, just chopped it up some. I made a block off plate for the original water pump location and it was a pita locating the right size belt which allowed real minor mods to the alternator bracket. I was able to get rid of the tennsioner puller, the water pump, and the fan hub assy since I have the electric fans.



If needed I can run the water pump and eletric fans with the motor off cooling the motor very fast. or untill the batteries die

how did you do the belt ? with out a tensioner and was it the same length

thats pretty slick. say was that your truck at the sonora truck pulls the 14th or is it a copy cat

smokinrod: the belt is much shorter, I tried the whole string thing with getting the corect size but ended up buying like 4 belts before it was over. The closest I could get was the NAPA #080465 yes its still a Micro-V with 8 ribs and it was still a little to big so I had to drill out some of the monting holes for the alternator and make a small bracket exstension wasn't hard by any means. I just pulled it tight enough and tighned it up works great.
