I went up last weekend and noticed there are a couple of other hotels close - Red Roof Inn and Motel 8 both in the DeSoto area (about 15 min. s from the seminar location). I stayed at the Holiday Inn that I recommended last weekend - nice and clean - $69/night if you make reservations on the internet.
