Central Texas Get together

RMTDR Meeting

Just wanted to thank Bill and James for a great seminar and BS session. I know we were on the move all day and night. It was great to meet everybody and learn more about our trucks.

Too bad we don't have any secrets to tell!!

I second that. The wife and I had a great time! She even said she wished she had brought some old clothes so she could get a little dirtier #ad
As soon as I recover from purchasing my second Cummins I'll definitly be ordering Bill's torqueconverter and V/B!

I learned more about automatic transmissions in those 2 days, than I have in the last few years. We need to have a Texas BOMB party at some shop in the near future.

It was great, lots of nice trucks and a lot on nice people. I have had DTTs vb and tc since last Sept and have high praise for Bill K and his products. Sorry to hear Bill got ripped off.
Thanks to Clint Fontenberry for organizing things and for installing 275 injectors in my truck. There were a lot of willing helpers and thanks to all of them.
The 275s are a nice addition to the Banks system, adds a lot of zip and no noticible smoke, of course when I go WOT it goes so fast all I can do is look straight ahead and hold on. #ad

Homebod,

It's about time someone posted about our little get together. I thought I was going to have to do it. #ad

I had a great time meeting and talking with everyone. Bill was everything I expected and a whole lot more. I had some basic transmission knowledge going into the seminar and didn't expect to learn much. Boy was I ever wrong.

For those of you who get the opportunity, don't pass up a chance to meet Bill. I drove 4 hours to meet him and if it was an 8 hour drive I would do it again.

James at All Pro is a first rate transmission builder. If I run into a transmission problems again, my truck is heading straight to All Pro. I can't say enough about the attention to detail he takes in his work.

There is a rumor of a truck running loose here in Texas with a few performance products that accelerates like a rocket from 50-90mph. Do you know anything about that WHOLEHOG? #ad

I was given a hard time cause I shift manually instead of with an automatic but I know it was all in fun and I still had a heck of a good time. Even Bill was nice to me and let me drive his truck and he knew I had a 6sd. It was fun and entertaining listening and watching all the things going on. I can't wait till the next meeting to see all the guys again. I will be in Oklahoma from the 12th to the 18th to get a load of wood. May catch yall on the flip-flop of the trip. Like Danandme said,my wife enjoyed the visit and thought it was super neat Bill and all the guys came out to the park to visit and watch the fire burning after the meeting and sessions.

I have to say I had a great time meeting everyone, well worth the 6. 5 hour drive. Special thanks to Bill and James and also the 6 speed Okie (it was cold and my RV gas heater wasn't working, thanks for the electric heat loaner and dinner) It felt like I was with my family, what a brotherhood we have. When needed, tranmission work on my truck will be done at All Pro if it will make it there. I would also like to thank the owner of All Pro for allowing us to use his shop that weekend, again I had a great time and look forward to seeing everyone soon.
