I just recently pulled a rancho 9000 out from under my truck for a good ol inspection due to poor handling characteristics and bucking ride. I could not believe the condition the shock was, so I went on the check the rest. Every shock I pulled was completely useless. I have had these on the truck for a little over a year and about 10k miles driven mostly highway. I would in no way ever recommend these after installing the Bilstein 5100 series. These shocks with the leveling kit that was already on the truck have truly transformed my truck to what I never thought would be possible. All in all if anyone cares how the truck handles bumps I would Highly reccommend these shocks. I run a truck camper at about 1800lbs with air bags in rear and feels like a hovercraft over rough seas. CONGRADS BILSTEIN I turned down ranchos offer to replace, why waste metal and someones money. https://www.turbodieselregister.com/ubb/bounce.gif

I just put the Rancho RSX (17000 series) on my '01 Dually and it's one hell of an improvement over the OE shocks that were on it... of course the shocks DID have 95,000 miles on them, so some kind of an improvement was to be expected.

I ran Bilsteins on my '79 Vette and absolutely loved em. I guess time and mileage will tell with these Ranchos whether I eventually switch em out or not.
