I would like to buy some shocks for my 2001 HO 2500. I like what I hear about Bilsteins and would like to know who has a decent price in the northeast. Thanks Dave

Off Road Warehouse in San Diego has the oem replacements for about 58. 00 ea, +8. 00 shipping.

If you have a 2. 5" leveling kit they have those for 65. 99 each.

Bilsteins????? Not so good

DThibault I got mine from Auto Zone back in may. 65. 00 each.

No TAX in New Hampshire. NO shipping charge as well.

No! Question asked Limited lifetime replacement. AutoZone has it on computer. Will they be around in three years (or so) to replace? I think so.

Also one thing you have to consider, if you get them local you can go back to that store to get a replacement, if you go mail order can you get a replacement? Will they be there?

I can't say the ride was improved much, in fact I can hardly tell I switched. OverFueled

DThibault i just put them on my truck monday they do ride better than the OEM's. My OEM's did not seem to bad when I took them off ,I think they are gas shocks because they fully extend like the Bilsteins and they say pressurized on them . I got them thru Rickson truck accessories for $61 each +$9 shipping they were at my door in three days. The # is 1-800-587-7633

there are 2 version of the bilstein shocks

make sure you buy the heavy duty shocks not the lightweight version.

I love my bilsteins :)

Got them and love them..... Off Road Warehouse has the best price I could find. Mention you are a TDR member and you get a discount.

I think there's a difference between 4x4 and 4x2. Make sure to tell them you want the heavys and which 4x you have. My OEM's had around 90k on them. The new Bilsteins took the edge off the roughness on the interstate. The truck handles rough roads much better, making it safer IMO.
