Bilstein shocks

I will be getting Bilstein shocks, and I have a 4" exhaust. Will the heat from the exhaust have any effect on the rubber dust boot on the passenger's side rear shock? My guess is there wil be about 1/2" clearance between the boot and the exhaust. Haven't seen this mentioned so it might not be a problem.

over 2yrs. here with zero problems, just took a peek under there. its more like 3" clearance

Over 2 years here also. No problems at all. Good choice too imho JPittman.
