My truck has had issues with a code 0216 and dead pedal for several months. Guess what? I have soy-diesel in it now and as soon as it was pushed thru the lines and at the pump it was running different.

It would, before with conventional fuel, smoke heavy on take off or not any smoke at all, now it is a light haze if asked to accelerate quickly, up to a heavier smoke with more throttle.

And it is consistent!!!

I believe it had something sticking or binding (like the timing advance ) and this fuel has better lube quality which is needed.

I recommend anyone who has current issues to look into this fuel or at least try super dosing the fuel with lubes.

BTW, this fuel is 11% soy diesel.

In Auburn, which is about 20 miles south of the I72 and I 55 split. I am pretty sure it is available in Bloomington Il.

A local farmer said yesterday that he has used it for a year ( only available at that time in bulk ) and was sure of a 10% reduction in fuel used.

2. 12 a gallon at the FS store. After hours, you must use a credit card or FS card. Hours are like 7 am to 5 pm
