I've been running B5 bio for three months now figuring that it would lube better then ULSD. I have changed the fuel filter once since and once and a while (only two times) on start up it seems to miss and kind of backfire??. The thing is it seems like I've lost power since running it. I have 218K and it's the origanal pump and injectors. I know it could be those things just wearing and it's a fluke that it more noticable with B5. Anyone run bio have the same problems? Sticky injectors?

i have no clue, but some times i run b20 if i find a station that has bio. i always use powerservice silver in the spring and summer and the white bottle in the fall and winter. i have had no problems what so ever.

i've been running B20 for 6 months now with no problems. No doubt it's quieter and may have picked up 1/2-1 mpg.

I'm thinking it's not the bio and it might be my injectors. this winter has been tough on my truck with the muffler and tailpipe rusting from the outside in and all my E-brake cables freezing up. I'm going to have to wait to get injectors. I'm planning on running SVO as soon as I get the bed tank and kit. At $1. 25 a gallon and my freind refines it and sells the kit, I have seen all the big rigs and cars he converted or the past two years and no problems.

The home of the smiling porker. Near Lansdale 40 miles outside of Phila. He is a refiner and the guy who supplys the fuel is the seller. I'll get more info on it in a few days.
