Biodiesel in a bombed 3Gen?

Who here has run B100 in a heavily bombed 3Gen? Thinking about switching over, with #2 breaking the $3. 00/gallon barrier. Screw OPEC.



If you run B100 in a heavily bombed truck, would you still have "black smoke"?

Cliffman just started running my homemade B100 in his 04 with an edge comp on 5 no problems so far. He said it does take a few more cranks to start first thing in the morning. I am also running it in my 96 that is heavely bombed and it starts and runs just the same as #2 but with a bit less smoke.

Ran 30 gallons of B100 in my 04 auto. Edge attitude on #5. Could not tell a difference in performance. Starts on 2nd crank instead of 1st crank in the morning. I'm a little concerned about low temp/winter starting. No difference is smoke.

Tell ya what, if I had the time & ability, I think I would switch. At some point here Lord willin we'll be adding a second CTD, & I think it would really pay off (Company does around 35-45k miles a year w/ 2 trucks)
